HB Markets - where the interest of our clients comes first
HB Markets used to provide its clients with a highly competitive, award winning online share dealing service. However, it became very difficult to sustain low prices and high service levels as market competition increased. Only the really large businesses could take advantage of the economies of scale sufficient to maintain such highly competitive products and services in the medium to long-term. This realisation led HB Markets to sell its online share dealing business to TD Direct Investing. However, some 12 months later HB Markets continues to receive requests from clients for online share dealing.

Commission Declaration
Where a TD Direct Investing account is opened via the HB Markets website, TD Direct Investing will pay HB Markets an introducer fee equivalent to 20% of trading commission earned on that account. For example, if a standard online commission of £12.50 was charged to an introduced customer, TD Direct Investing would pay HB Markets £2.50 (20% of £12.50).
